What is the ruling if an object penetrates the internal barrier (like the rectum) from the posterior?
Chapter on Diyat (Blood Money) for Wounds
Al-Mughni
Book of Blood-Money (Diyyāt)
Primary text
If an iron rod, piece of wood, or a hand is inserted into a person's posterior, breaching an internal barrier, the perpetrator is liable for 'hukumat' (discretionary compensation). The perpetrator is not liable for the compensation of a 'ja'ifa' (penetrating wound into a body cavity) because a ja'ifa is defined as a wound that breaches from the exterior surface to the interior cavity, and this scenario is contrary to that definition.
