If a stab to the cheekbone fractures the bone and reaches the mouth, the person is liable for the *arsh* of a *hashimah* (due to the bone fracture), and for any amount exceeding that, a discretionary assessment (*hukuma*) is due. This situation is subject to the scholarly disagreement regarding whether it constitutes a *ja'ifah*.
