If an injury makes turning the head difficult (shāqqun al-iltifāt) or swallowing water or something else difficult, the compensation due is determined by *hukūma* (arbitration/assessment). This is because the entirety of the utility has not been lost, and this specific loss cannot be precisely quantified.
