What is the ruling if a claimant asserts he lent the debtor a thousand, but the debtor denies any debt owed, and the claimant presents evidence of the loan while the debtor presents evidence of repayment?

Primary text
If the debtor presents evidence of repayment and the date of repayment is unknown, the debtor is acquitted because only one thousand was established as owed, and repayment can only occur for an established debt. If the debtor denies the loan entirely and then brings evidence of repayment, his evidence of repayment is not accepted for the loan because his denial of the loan directs that repayment towards a debt other than the loan.
