What is the ruling if the possessor manages a non-communicative child without explicitly claiming ownership?

If the possessor exercises authority over the child through service and other actions without explicitly claiming ownership, the ruling is the same as if ownership (slavery) had been claimed. Ownership is established because possession is evidence of ownership.
