What is the ruling if the seller states uncertainty regarding who owns the item between the two claimants?

If the seller declares ignorance regarding which of the two claimants owns the item, a lot drawing (qur'ah) is conducted between them. The item is given to the one selected by the lot drawing, who then takes an oath to secure possession.
