If a wife presents two witnesses testifying to her divorce, and the integrity of these witnesses is unknown, intercession must occur between her and her husband.

If the wife presents only one witness regarding the divorce, intercession does not occur because the full proof (*bayyinah*) is not established. Divorce requires two witnesses to be established; thus, it is not established by a single witness.
