The soundest tradition regarding the prohibition of Zakat for the strong earner is the narration from Abdullah ibn Adi ibn al-Khiyar, which Imam Ahmad considered the most authentic available. Regarding the Hadith, 'Charity is not lawful for a wealthy person, nor for one with sound physical capacity (dhi mirrah sawiy),' the scholars state that they are unaware of any firmly established (sahih) transmission for this specific wording.
