Primary text
The necessary provision for recipients must be determined according to their needs and sufficiency. A person with children receives more due to their children, and one possessing a warhorse receives more due to the horse. Slaves maintained for military necessities are included in the recipient's sufficiency allowance. If the slaves are for adornment or trade, they are not included in his allowance. The prevailing view requires consideration of local market prices because prices vary by region, and the objective is sufficiency. Therefore, lineage and children are considered, causing their allowances to differ based on these varying needs.
