Is an oath required when a person's wealth is unknown but they claim poverty?

If the claimant's wealth is entirely unknown, their statement is accepted, and they are not required to take an oath. This is established because the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not require an oath from the two men he observed to be physically capable.
