What is the condition for divorce based on the speaker's state when addressing someone?

If the oath is, "You are divorced if you speak to Zaid while I am absent," divorce is only effected if Zaid is spoken to during the speaker's absence. Similarly, if the condition is, "You are divorced if you speak to Zaid while you are riding," or, "while he is riding," divorce is contingent upon speaking to him during that specific state of riding. The same principle applies if the condition is tied to the state of a third party, such as, "You are divorced if you speak to Zaid while his brother Muhammad is sick"; divorce occurs only when Zaid is spoken to during Muhammad's illness.
