What is the correct manner for pronouncing divorce according to the Sunnah?

The choice and preference is to divorce once and then leave her until the end of her three menstrual cycles pass, allowing him to recall her if he regrets the decision. This aligns with the command of God and the saying of the Salaf, ensuring safety from regret, as the Sunnah divorce is one pronouncement followed by leaving her until her Iddah concludes. If he regrets it and the Iddah has passed, he may remarry her.

There is a view, attributed to some, that he should issue one divorce in each pure interval (Qur'), but the former method is superior as it fulfills God's command and avoids the regret that comes with immediate finality.
