Primary text

The Khul' is confirmed as valid, and the divorce does not take place because the pronouncement finds her in a state of final separation (Ba'inah). If Zayd arrives one month and one hour after the initial conditional pronouncement, the divorce takes effect, and the Khul' is invalidated. The wife has the right to claim restitution of the consideration unless the divorce was revocable (Raj'i), as Khul' is valid in a revocable divorce.
