Primary text

If the husband has pronounced three divorces and this is established either by her acknowledgment or the testimony of two unbiased male witnesses, it is not permissible for her to allow him to remain with her. She is obligated to flee from him as much as she is capable, prevent him from intimacy, and redeem herself from him if possible. It is not permissible for her to remain with him, and if forced, she must not adorn herself for him or permit him intimacy, fleeing if she can. This position is held by the majority of scholars.

This ruling is analogous to a situation where a man falsely claims marriage to a woman and provides false testimony, leading the judge to rule them married, or if a woman enters into a void marriage and acquiesces to it; the ruling in all such cases is the same as for a woman irrevocably divorced three times.
