Primary text
If a husband says to his wife, 'If I speak to you, you are divorced,' and then repeats this statement, one divorce occurs because the repetition constitutes speaking to her after the initial oath regarding divorce. If he repeats it a third time, a second divorce occurs, unless the wife has not yet been sexually consummated with, in which case the first utterance suffices, and a second divorce does not follow. If he repeats it a fourth time, the third divorce occurs.
