Chapter on Divorce by Calculation
Al-Mughni
Book of Divorce
Primary text
If the husband states, "I have cast between you three divorces" or "four divorces" (أوقعت بينكن ثلاث طلقات أو أربع طلقات), each woman is divorced once according to our main position. This is consistent with the previous ruling emphasizing certainty and avoiding excess.
Supporting text
According to the opposing view (the secondary view mentioned in the previous issue's context), they would be divorced three times each.
