If a husband states, 'You are divorced half of three divorces' (Anṭa ṭāliq niṣfa thalāthi ṭalaqāt), two divorces occur. This is because half of three divorces is one and a half divorces, and the remaining half completes the second full divorce, resulting in two divorces.
