Divorce occurs if the wife sees her father in any of these states: dead, asleep, unconscious, or seen through transparent material, because she has indeed seen him. This ruling stands based on the literal occurrence of the condition stipulated.
Supporting text
If she saw his reflection in water or a mirror, or his image on a wall or similar surface, divorce does not occur because she did not see him directly. If she was coerced into seeing him, the ruling is subject to two opinions.
