What is the ruling when a man specifies divorce 'for the Sunnah' related to the beginning of the month?

If a man tells his wife, 'You are divorced if the head of the month arrives, for the Sunnah,' and the head of the month occurs during a time considered proper (zaman al-sunnah), the divorce takes effect immediately. Otherwise, it takes effect when the time of Sunnah arrives.
