What is the ruling when a non-Arab speaker says 'Bihashtam li-Bisyar'?

If a non-Arab speaker utters the phrase 'Bihashtam li-Bisyar' (which is interpreted as meaning 'You are divorced many times'), the wife is divorced three times. Ahmad explicitly stated this ruling. This declaration is taken as an absolute threefold divorce.
