If a person swears an oath that an agent ('amil') cannot leave without permission, or swears this regarding his wife or slave, and subsequently the agent is dismissed, the wife is divorced (if the oath concerned her), or the slave is sold, two possible legal outcomes exist regarding the oath's continuation or nullification.
