Primary text
If a man swore by divorce that he would not leave Baghdad except for a recreational trip, and he left for a recreational trip but then proceeded to Mecca, it is apparent that the oath was broken because Mecca is not considered a recreational trip. This ruling is supported by the same reasoning established for conditional oaths.
