Primary text
If a husband says, "You are divorced (Anti mutallaqah), you are released (Anti musarrah), you are separated (Anti mufariqah)," and claims he intended affirmation with the second and third phrases, the divorce is established. This is accepted because he did not use differing conjunctions that imply difference between the words, but rather repeated the meaning. This repetition is considered emphasis (tawkid).
