The wife who was divorced thrice and then denies the divorce does not inherit from her husband. This is the stated position of Ahmad, Qatada, Abu Hanifa, Abu Yusuf, Al-Shafi'i, and Ibn Al-Mundhir. The reasoning is that she knows she is a stranger (non-wife) to him, thus she does not inherit like other strangers.
