Is the Mut'ah obligatory for a widow?

The Mut'ah is not due to the widow based on scholarly consensus (Ijma'). This is because the general text regarding Mut'ah only addresses divorced women and does not include widows. Furthermore, the widow has already received the compensation specified in the contract, and no further obligation beyond that is incumbent upon her, similar to other contracts.
