Primary text
If a woman delegates her own dower and later demands the stipulation of her equivalent dower after the value of her equivalent dower has changed, or if consummation has occurred, the equivalent dower obligatory is that which was applicable at the time of the contract. This is consistent with the reasoning that the obligation relates back to the state of the contract.
