What is the ruling regarding the dowry (*mahr*) for a woman validly married (*zawjah*) or in *iddah* (waiting period) whom a man marries and has intercourse with, knowing the prohibition and her compliance?

If a man marries a woman who is already validly married or is observing *iddah*, and he has intercourse with her knowing the prohibition of intercourse (*wat'*) and she complies while knowing the prohibition, then she is not entitled to any *mahr*. This act constitutes fornication (*zina*) which necessitates the prescribed punishment (*hadd*), as she consented to it.
