It is recommended to observe cleanliness with water, use the Siwak, and use anything that removes foul odors. It is recommended for all people to attend, especially those of piety, modesty, and righteousness, with the elderly being even more highly recommended as this hastens the acceptance of the prayer.
Supporting text
The attendance of young women and those of notable appearance is not recommended, as the potential harm from their presence outweighs the benefit. Furthermore, bringing animals out for this prayer is not recommended, as the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not do so.
