Primary text

Based on the apparent positions of Al-Khiraqi and Imam Ahmad, those relatives who inherit the remainder are entitled to receive it whether they are poor or rich. This is because an endowment is not restricted to the poor; if an endowment is designated for one's children, it includes both the poor and the rich among them, and the same principle applies here.

There is an opposing view asserting that it is restricted only to the poor relatives, as they are the rightful recipients of charity, unlike the wealthy among them.
