What is the ruling regarding the emancipation of a slave who is half-endowed and half-free, if the owner of the free half emancipates him?

If the owner of the free half emancipates the slave, the emancipation does not extend to the endowed portion. If the emancipation is not effective by direct action, it is even less effective through derivation or extension (sarayah).
