Primary text

Abu al-Khattab holds the view that if the mosque requires funds, the fruit of the tree should be sold, and its price spent on the mosque's maintenance and repair. The statement by Ahmad that neighbors should eat the fruit is interpreted to mean they should use it for the mosque's upkeep.
