Is a Waqf valid if it is sound in the middle but interrupted at both ends, such as being designated for one's slaves, then one's children, then a church?

Two opinions exist regarding the validity of such an endowment. If valid, the funds designated for the recipient that cannot legally receive endowment (the church) revert to the valid recipients according to the rule for endowments interrupted at termination.
