Does ascending to the roof or moving to the courtyard of a house violate an oath not to leave the house?

If a person swears an oath that his wife shall not leave a specific house without his permission, and she ascends to the roof or goes out to the courtyard, the oath is not broken. This is because she has not left the physical boundaries of the 'house'.
