Primary text

If a person swears an oath not to taste (*yadhuqah*) something, and subsequently eats it, drinks it, or sucks it, the oath is violated because these actions constitute tasting plus an addition (i.e., full consumption). Furthermore, if the person chews something and spits it out, the oath is violated because they have already tasted it.
