How is an oath against eating 'Rutab' (fresh dates) interpreted if one eats dried dates (Tamr)?

Primary text
If one swears not to eat fresh dates (Rutab) and eats dried dates (Tamr), the oath is broken, similar to swearing not to eat meat and then eating cured meat (Qadid), because the reality (essence) of the date remains. This contrasts with the view of some Shafi'i companions who claim no breach, analogizing it to swearing off fresh dates and eating dried ones.
