Primary text

If the creditor appoints an agent to collect his right and separates before the agent collects, the oath is broken because the creditor parted ways before the right was fulfilled. If the agent collects the debt and then the creditor separates, the oath is not broken, as the agent's collection constitutes the creditor's collection, discharging the debtor and placing the liability on the principal (Al-Muawkil).

Supporting text

The separation after collection by the agent does not break the oath because the fulfillment of the debt substitutes for the creditor's presence.
