Primary text
The oath is restricted to the interior of the dwelling if there is an accompanying linguistic or contextual indicator suggesting the intent was solely for the interior. For example, if the roof serves as a public path, or if the reason for the oath relates to severing ties with the inhabitants, ascending the roof does not violate the oath. Furthermore, if the oath-taker intended specifically the interior part of the dwelling, the oath is limited by that intention, based on the principle that one only receives what one intends.
