Does parting ways break an oath not to part ways if the separation is forced by external coercion (Ikrah)?

If the separation occurs under compulsion, one must look at the nature of the compulsion. If the creditor was physically carried away until separation occurred, the oath is not broken. If the creditor was coerced through beating and threats, the oath is not broken.

Abu Bakr held the view that the oath is broken in cases of compulsion via threat.
