Does reciting the Quran as an actual utterance break an oath sworn not to speak when used in response to a request for entry?

If a person requests entry and one responds by reciting the verse, "Enter it in peace, secure" (Quran 15:46), if the intent is Quranic recitation, the oath is not broken. If the intent is otherwise, the oath is broken.
