Does standing on the door frame or threshold of a dwelling violate an oath not to enter?

Standing on the door jamb (tubaq al-baab) is treated as standing on the wall, meaning it is subject to scholarly difference regarding violation. The view of the Qadi is that standing on the threshold (utbah) does not violate the oath because if the door is closed, the person is effectively outside, and one standing there is not considered to be inside.
