Breaking the oath does not occur if the person intended by their oath only to abstain from eating barley when it is isolated (*munfaridan*), or if the cause for taking the oath implies this restriction, or if the cause implies consuming barley in a noticeable quantity. In such cases, breaking the oath only occurs under the specified condition that was intended.
