There are two views regarding an ornamented belt. One view states that the oath is not broken because the ornamentation serves the belt itself, akin to an ornamented sword. The second view states that the oath is broken because the belt is considered men's jewelry, and typically, one wears it ornamented specifically for the purpose of adornment.
