Is fasting invalidated by kissing while fasting if no ejaculation occurs?
General Chapter

Book of Fasting
Primary text
Kissing while fasting does not invalidate the fast if no discharge occurs. This ruling is held without known dispute. Evidence is found in the tradition where Aisha narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to kiss while fasting, stating he was the most in control of his desire ('irbuhu). The term 'irb' is explained as either the soul's necessity or the organ itself. Furthermore, a narration from Umar ibn al-Khattab confirms the permissibility, where the Prophet compared it to rinsing the mouth (madmadah) while fasting; if water is expelled without swallowing, the fast remains valid.

Ahmed considered the hadith concerning rinsing the mouth to be weak, dismissing it as unsubstantiated.
