Is making up the fast obligatory if insanity lifts, a child reaches maturity, or a non-Muslim embraces Islam during the daytime while they were fasting?

Primary text
If an insane person regains sanity, a child reaches maturity, or a non-Muslim embraces Islam during the daytime while they were fasting, there are two narrations regarding the obligation to make up the fast. The first view holds that no makeup fast is required because they did not experience a period during which they could fully engage in the worship, similar to when an excuse is removed after the prescribed time has passed. The second view mandates making up the fast because they experienced part of the prescribed time for the act of worship, thus obligating a makeup fast, similar to one who experiences part of the time for prayer.
