Is touching a spouse without desire permissible while fasting?

Touching a spouse without sexual desire, such as touching her hand to ascertain her illness, is not disliked in any circumstance. This is because such touching is permissible even while in the state of Ihram (ritual consecration for Hajj/Umrah), and thus is not disliked during fasting, similar to touching one's clothes.
