Primary text
If the lineage of the child born to the woman cannot be established from either man due to the impossibility or ambiguity of *Qafah*, the suckling is prohibited to both men. This prohibition is established by prioritizing the avoidance of prohibition (*taghliban lil-hadhr*). This is because the child might belong to one of them, and its sister might have become confused with a non-related woman, thus making all relations prohibited, similar to a situation where a known sister is mixed with unknown women.
