Primary text
If a woman nurses a child three times from the milk of her husband, and it ceases, then marries another and nurses the child twice from the second husband's milk, she becomes his mother without known dispute among those who hold that five nursings establish prohibition. Neither husband becomes his father because the required number of nursings was not completed from either one's milk. Both husbands are prohibited from marrying her because the child becomes their foster-son (rabib) through her, not their biological son.
