Is it recommended to wear clean garments for the Friday prayer?

It is recommended that one wears two clean garments for the Friday prayer. This is established by the report from Abdullah ibn Salam, who heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying on Friday, "It is not difficult for any one of you if he were to purchase two garments for the day of Jumu'ah besides his work clothes." This is narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah. A hadith also mentions, "Whoever wears his best clothes on Friday and performs ghusl (ritual bath)...".
