The *Takbir* (saying *Allahu Akbar*) is legislated outside of the obligatory prayers during these specific days. Ibn Umar performed the *Takbir* in Mina during those days following the prayers, in his sleeping place, his tent, his sitting place, and while walking. He would recite the *Takbir* loudly enough within his tent that the people of the mosque would hear and join him, and the people in the markets would also join, causing Mina to echo with recitation.
