What are the recommended preparatory actions for a man attending Friday prayer?

It is recommended that a man attending Friday prayer apply oil (Yadahan), clean himself by removing unwanted hair, and remove foul odors. The evidence is the Hadith stating: "No man performs Ghusl on Friday, purifies himself as much as he is able of purification, applies oil from his oil or touches some perfume from his house, then goes out and does not separate two people, then prays what is decreed for him, and then remains silent when the Imam speaks, except that his sins between that Friday and the next are forgiven."
